SYMPTOMS
When you resize the Chat window in MSN, The Microsoft Network, you may receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
If you click Details, you receive the following error message:
Iexplore caused a stack fault in module Kernel32.dll.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when you resize the Chat window in MSN while MSN is accessing information over the Internet.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
