SYMPTOMS
Invoking the Visual Component Manager results in the error:
and returns Invalid Error Information.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been fixed in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 2.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
- Add "VisualCompmgr.connect=0" to vbaddin.ini.
- Run Visual Basic.
- From the Add-in's menu, add "Visual Component Manager."
RESULT: You should get assert exutil(329), followed by "resource with identifier '10215' not found." It should then quit.
