The information in this article applies to:

  • Softimage 3D for IRIX, version 3.7

SYMPTOMS

White spots appear on your textures.

CAUSE

This occurs because patch #1918 is missing. Patch #1918 is an SGI patch that is required to run SOFTIMAGE 3D.

RESOLUTION

Contact SGI and request and install patch #1918.
