SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a Pocket Word document that is located on a Flash random-access memory (RAM) PC Card from the most recently used (MRU) list, you receive the following incorrect error message if the Flash card has been removed:

Cannot access '<Filename>' because it is being modified by another application. Close the document in the other application and try again.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
