SYMPTOMS
When you create a new Datasheet form using the AutoForm: Datasheet Wizard, the background of the form in Design view is different from what you expect.
CAUSE
The AutoForm Wizards always default to the last style used when you created a form using the Form Wizard (or the last style you selected in the AutoFormat dialog box). This includes the AutoForm: Datasheet Wizard. This will not affect how the form will appear in Datasheet view.
RESOLUTION
If you want to have your form displayed in a different style, in Design view of the form, modify the style by clicking AutoFormat on the Format menu, and then changing the style in the AutoFormat dialog box.
MORE INFORMATION
Steps to Reproduce Behavior
- Open the sample database Northwind.mdb.
- Using the AutoForm: Datasheet Wizard, create a new form based on the Customers table.
- View the resulting form in Design view.
The background of the form will be the same background you used the last time you created a form using the Form Wizard.
