SYMPTOMS
When you print to the Texas Instruments (TI) MicroLaser Pro 600 PS23 PostScript printer, you may experience one of the following problems:
The DATA light on the printer blinks as the page is received, but there is no output. The page appears to have been discarded.
While the document is being printed, the printer resets itself. The remainder of the print job is printed as garbled characters.
The printer prints the following error message
Restarted due to fatal system error at address 0X9FD100E4
and then prints garbled characters.
CAUSE
The TI MicroLaser Pro 600 PS23 PostScript printer with firmware revision 2013.110 rev. 16 b may have problems with the Windows 95 PostScript interpreter. Later firmware revisions do not have this problem.
RESOLUTION
Please contact Texas Instruments about a possible firmware upgrade for the printer. This problem does not occur with firmware version 2014.105 rev. 22 b and higher.
