SYMPTOMSIn the System Folder:Preferences subfolder on the Macintosh, there are two FoxPro settings files. The Setup program installs the file "FoxPro Settings (2.5)"; however, running FoxPro for Macintosh creates the "FoxPro Settings" file. RESOLUTIONThe "FoxPro Settings (2.5)" file is not required for program operation and can be safely deleted. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0b for Macintosh.
