BUG: "API Library Not Found" Error with RELEASE LIBRARYID: Q107523 The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf you issue the RELEASE LIBRARY <library name> command, an "API library not found" error message appears. CAUSEThe current directory is not the library's home directory. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, either include the path to the library file as part of the command, or first issue a SET DEFAULT TO <directory of library file> command. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5, 2.5a, and 2.5b for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
