PRB: "Error Writing to File 'MSAIN100.DLL'" During 1.1 InstallArticle ID: Q103997
SYMPTOMS
Error writing to file "MSAIN100.DLL" is displayed when you are upgrading a network installation of Microsoft Access from version 1.0 to version 1.1.
CAUSE
If someone is using Microsoft Access when you start the installation process, the error message Error writing to file "MSAIN100.DLL" is received when the Setup program tries to delete that file. Once all users have closed Microsoft Access, you can restart Setup.
