SYMPTOMS
While running OS/2 versions 2.x, the MS-DOS-hosted version of Microsoft C/C++ 7.0 and some of its utilities may generate errors. These errors include
run-time error R6915 DOSX16: unhandled exception
and OS/2 protection violations.
RESOLUTION
Microsoft C/C++ version 7.0 can be used on computers running MS-DOS or Microsoft Windows. Microsoft does not support the use of Microsoft C/C++ version 7.0 on OS/2 2.x because it was not tested on OS/2 2.x.
