SYMPTOMSWhen you are sending output from a report to a file with the command REPORT FORM <report> TO <file> the maximum size of the file, drive letter, path and filename, can be only 31 characters long (the actual limit is 32 characters, but the last character is a null). CAUSEThis behavior is a limitation of Windows 3.1. RESOLUTIONChange the default directory to the directory you want the output file to go in, and then use the filename with no path. -or- Shorten the filename as much as possible. For example, instead of BIGTEST.TXT, name your file B.TXT.
