Excel: Dates Appearing Incorrectly When Month Entered in 1.03 PSS ID Number: Q20290 Article last modified on 11-07-1990 PSS database name: M_eXceL

1.03

MACINTOSH

Summary:

In Microsoft Excel version 1.03, typing “<SPACEBAR>Sept” (that is, pressing the SPACEBAR and then typing “Sept” [without the quotation marks]) causes “Sep-35” to be displayed in that cell of the spreadsheet.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel version 1.03. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel version 1.04.
