Summary:

Word processing boxes in Windows PowerPoint have a limit of 255 characters per line. Even if the width of the word processing box allows for a longer line, the text will still word wrap at the 256th character.

If you must type more than 255 characters on a single line, you can do so by using the Labeler tool.
