This build is the third developer release of Windows ME. It is referenced in "The Road to Gold: The development of Windows Me" at Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows. [1] According to Thurrott, it did not introduce any significant changes over DR1 and DR2. This build was apparently released on the week after DR2 was released. This leads to the estimation of DR3's release date as being anywhere from 8th to 14th August 1999. There are three screenshots that could be of this build, but as the screenshots have no build information, this cannot be confirmed. [2] [3] [4]
