This build was among the first to use the Pig Latin strings in such areas, such as "onghornLay rofessionalPay" for "Longhorn Professional" in the lower right corner of the screen. While many people originally believed that these builds were fake, the truth is that it was actually due to new code that Microsoft was implementing into the subsequent Longhorn builds, designed to allow Windows to either display and/or not to display these strings when requested.
This build also included some features and updates that were not available in Build 4015, such as various changes to the Explorer shell, larger image and video previews being displayed within a tooltip whenever the mouse hovered over a file, column level filtering of results, and improved performance of the Explorer shell itself having improved in comparison with Build 4015, although the memory leak issues had not been completely fixed.
