Window Manager Demonstration Version 0.01 is an early demonstration version of Windows 1.0. It is dated September 12, 1983[1] and was reviewed in a December 1983 BYTE magazine issue.
On March 9, 2022, BetaArchive member ReflectiaX posted a photo of a 5,25" floppy disk containing this demo,[1] though he later reported that the data were intentionally erased using a magnet. However, other copies of the disk are supposed to exist.[2]
