Windows 1.x is the first version of Microsoft Windows. Developed since 1983, the first retail version, Premiere Edition (1.00), was completed on 17th August 1985 but it wasn't sold. 1.01 was the first Windows that arrived in stores and was released on 20th November 1985. The last version, 1.04 was released in April 1987. Windows 1.x didn't gain great popularity.

NOTE: there are no availible informations about Developer Releases 1, 2, 3, and 4, however it's logical they exist because DR5 was leaked.
