S.T.A.L.K.E.R. build 1098 is the earliest leaked build of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. At this point in development the game was still called "Oblivion Lost" and was not based around the events of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The splash screen that loads up states this version as "Pre-Alpha Build 1096", however if one of the log files is opened up it states that it is actually build 1098.
