This article discusses the Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.5 Update. This update addresses vulnerabilities in Office 2004 for Mac that could enable an attacker to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code. The Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.5 Update also addresses issues in Microsoft Excel 2004 for Mac and in Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac.   This update fixes vulnerabilities in Excel 2004 for Mac that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.
Improvements for Entourage 2004 for Mac
- Resolves the "Event and computer time zones do not match" warning message that you receive when you open Calendar events
  You no longer receive the following warning message when you open Calendar events in Entourage 2004 for Mac 11.2.3 and Mac OS X 10.4.5 or later versions:
  
  Event and computer time zones do not match. In Calendar Views, the event time is adjusted to display correctly.
- Improved performance in Exchange 2004 for Mac and in Entourage 2004 for Mac
  This update improves Exchange 2004 for Mac performance in organizations with Macintosh client computers that are running Microsoft Entourage. Office 2004 for Mac identities that were created before you installed Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 2 and subsequently upgraded to Office 2004 for Macversion 11.2.x had synchronization problems if the Microsoft Exchange mailbox was moved after the identity was upgraded.
