Bug #: 700 (SQL Hotfix)
Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2005 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2005 fix release.

SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft SQL Server 2005, you experience slow performance when you use a forward-only cursor. This issue occurs when the forward-only cursor includes a user-defined function or a remote table. If you use SQL Server Profile to trace the operation, you notice that the forward-only cursor is implicitly converted to a keyset cursor.
RESOLUTION
