When you try to start Microsoft Outlook by using Profile Maker, Outlook does not start as expected

SYMPTOMS

When you try to start Microsoft Outlook on a client computer by using Profile Maker, Outlook does not start as expected. This issue occurs when you use the /a switch to run the Profile Maker client program.

CAUSE

When you use the /a switch to run the Profile Maker client program, the Profile Maker client program runs as a system service. Outlook does not run correctly when it is started by a system service.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, do not use the /a switch to run the Profile Maker client program when you try to start Outlook.
