Issue that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When a user who is not an administrator tries to create a site in the sitedirectory area of a Windows SharePoint Services Web site, the URL for the site that is being created points to the subarea instead of to the root/sitedirectory area.
