INTRODUCTION
To export an MSN Hotmail address book to a Microsoft Outlook Express address book, you must configure Outlook Express to use your Hotmail e-mail account. If you have not configured Outlook Express to use your Hotmail e-mail account, view the information that is in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

After you have configured Outlook Express to use your Hotmail e-mail account, follow these steps to share an Outlook Express address book with your Hotmail account address book:
- Log on to your Hotmail e-mail account, and then verify the contacts that are in the address book.
- Start Outlook Express
- On the Tools menu, click Address Book.
- On the main toolbar of the Address Book display, click Synchronize Now on the Tools menu.
The address book entries from your Hotmail account will be downloaded to your Outlook Express address book. In the future, repeat these steps to keep both the Outlook Express address book and the Hotmail account address book up to date.
