SYMPTOMS
Microsoft Message Queue Server (MSMQ) storage files may unexpectedly accumulate in the %windir%\system32\msmq\storage directory on a remote MSMQ server when applications perform remote reads against the server. If this problem occurs, an event log error similar to the following event log is logged in the event viewer:

Description:
Unable to create message file D:\STORAGE\r000001e4.mq. There is insufficient disk space or memory.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if MSMQ server uses the wrong queue handle when it closes the cursor.

Hotfix Replacement Information
This hotfix replaces all previous MSMQ 2.0 hotfixes. The file version of Mqqm.dll can be used to determine the latest version.
