SYMPTOMS
If you use the Schtasks.exe command-line tool to delete a task, you are prompted to confirm the deletion by pressing the key for "Yes" or "No" in your language. Depending on which language version of Windows XP you use, the keys that are listed may vary. However, the only keys that are accepted are Y and N.
RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain and install the hotfix that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
321120 Tasks That Are Scheduled from 00:00 to 00:59 Appear as "Never"
After you install the hotfix, Schtasks.exe correctly accepts the language-specific keys that are listed on the screen.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows XP Service Pack 1.
