When you try to view a Calendar, Outlook 2000 may stop responding. Outlook 2000 stops responding because the Calendar that you are trying to view may have a recurring meeting that has corrupted data in the First Day of Week field.

281935 XADM: CDO Can Corrupt Data in Recurring Appointments
The fix in the previously mentioned article masks the loop and permits you to have access to the Calendar while providing you with the time to install the fix on your computer.
