SUMMARY
When you work with a SQL Server 2000 database from within the Visual InterDev 6.0 database design tools, you cannot create or modify tables, views, or database diagrams.
If Visual Studio Service Pack 4 is installed, you will receive the following error message when you try to create or modify tables, views, or database diagrams:
If Visual Studio Service Pack 3 or earlier is installed, there will be no context menu items available from within the database design tool for you to use to create or modify tables, views, or database diagrams.
MORE INFORMATION
The Visual InterDev 6.0 database design tools are not compatible with SQL Server 2000. You must use the SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager to make modifications to the database.
