SYMPTOMS
When a database table is created in Visual Studio, it is not owned by the database owner (DBO) who created it.
RESOLUTION
Install the latest service pack for Visual Studio 6.0.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the latest service pack for Visual Studio 6.0.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
- Log in as a user who is a member of db_owner but not DBO.
- Create a table.
- Save the table. Result: The table is not owned by the DBO who created it.
