SUMMARY
This article describes how to enable Universal Serial Bus (USB) support for a computer that is running Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Windows 98, or Windows 95. To enable USB support, ensure that both of the following conditions exist (these conditions are described fully in the "More Information" section of this article):
- You are using a version of Windows that supports USB controllers.
- You are using a supported USB controller.

You Are Using a Version of Windows That Supports USB Controllers
Windows Me, Windows 98, and some versions of Windows 95 provide support for USB controllers and hubs. If you are using Windows 95, determine if your version of Windows 95 provides support for USB controllers and hubs.
