FIX: Engine Relationship Collection Error "Object Cache is Full"

SYMPTOMS

The following error occurs when Exporting from a large OLAP database into the Repository:

Error number: 0x8004001F
Error description: CreateMeasureUMXDerivation Failed: The object cache is full.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This bug was corrected in Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3.

Additionally, you may encounter a database-specific error.

When exporting to a SQL Server database, the following error may result:

Error number: 0x8004001E
Error description: Error in creating OLP Mapping. The object
cache is full.

When exporting to an Access database, either of the following errors may result:

Error number: 0x8004001F
Error description: Not enough space in temporary disk.

-or-

Error description: Error in creating UMX Derivation.
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] System resource exceeded.
