SYMPTOMS

When you import a Microsoft Schedule+ version 1.0 (.CAL) file into Microsoft Outlook, the data in the Schedule+ Daily Notes field is not preserved.

RESOLUTION

If you want to preserve the information in the Daily Notes field, you must first upgrade your Schedule+ 1.0 Calendar file (.CAL) to Schedule+ version 7.0, format (.SCD). To do this, run Schedule+ 7.0 and open the .CAL file. Schedule+ 7.0 converts the Daily Notes information to a Daily Event, so when you run the Outlook Import and Export Wizard to import your new Schedule+ 7.0 .SCD file, the Daily Event imports into Outlook as an All Day Event.

MORE INFORMATION

To import your Schedule+ 1.0 Calendar File (*.CAL) into Outlook, you must use the Import and Export Wizard. For more information about importing Schedule+ files into Outlook, please see the following articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
