Updated SideWinder 3D Pro Drivers Available for Aztech Sound Cards



The information in this article applies to:


  • Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro, version 1.0





SUMMARY

Microsoft has found that the following problems may occur when you use the SideWinder 3D Pro joystick with certain Aztech sound cards, such as the Washington Sound Galaxy 16 sound card:


  • The SideWinder 3D Pro does not work in Digital Overdrive mode in Microsoft Windows 95.
  • In Windows 95, you cannot select the Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro as your joystick using the Joystick tool in Control Panel.

To correct these problems, Microsoft has released updated versions of the SideWinder 3D Pro drivers for Aztech sound cards.
