SYMPTOMS
When you receive an e-mail message, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if any of the following conditions are true:
- Outlook Express has been removed from the computer.
- The installation of Outlook Express is damaged.
- Your user profile is damaged in Outlook.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented.
Method 1: Remove and Then Reinstall Outlook Express
Remove Outlook Express, reinstall it, and then restart the computer.

Method 2: Manually Remove and then Reinstall Outlook Express
If a normal reinstallation of Outlook Express does not work, you can try to manually remove Outlook Express, and then reinstall it. When you have done this, restart your computer.
