MS-DOS 8.00 is the last version of of the MS-DOS operating system by Microsoft. Unlike most versions of the operating system, it was not released as a separate product, but was bundled with Windows ME.

It is still possible to create MS-DOS boot disks in Windows XP and later. Boot disks created in this way use the disk image included in diskcopy.dll.
