Internet Explorer 9 is the ninth version of the Internet Explorer web browser developed by Microsoft, and was released on March 14, 2011 for Windows Vista (SP2 with Platform Update), Windows Server 2008 (SP2 with Platform Update), Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2. The first Platform Preview (7745.6019) was released on March 16, 2010.
