SYMPTOMS

After you enable compression for HTTP content in Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 with Service Pack 2 (SP2), the Microsoft Firewall service may randomly stop responding. Additionally, the Microsoft Firewall service may stop unexpectedly.

When this problem occurs, the following events are logged:

RESOLUTION
