Microsoft has released the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 hotfix package that is dated August 23, 2006. This article describes the following aspects of this hotfix package:

Issues that the hotfix package fixes
The hotfix package fixes the following issue:
924405 Client computers cannot download attachments when you use ISA Server 2004 forms-based authentication and run a third-party OWA add-in program to manage attachments
924404 After you enable compression for HTTP content in ISA Server 2004 with Service Pack 2, the Microsoft Firewall service may randomly stop responding

Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have ISA Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed on the computer.
Restart information
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, ISA Server 2004-related services are automatically stopped and then restarted when you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfix.
