It is still unclear whether this is a Windows 2000 post-RTM build or an Alpha build of Windows XP (codename Whistler). The "SD" in the build tag refers to a new code management system that Microsoft was using ("Source Depot") at the time. This build seems likely to have been compiled as a test of this system. Some people think that this build is mentioning Whistler at the beginning of the Setup Process, but that was because of a fix for the BSOD at the beginning of setup.
Windows XP build 2202 is the earliest leaked build of Windows XP from February 2000. It identifies itself as '''SD Windows 2000 Professional'''.SD refers to Microsoft's Source Depot, a new code management system they began using to manage several build labs.
