Windows "Longhorn" build 4039 (with a build tag of 4039.Lab06 n.030827-1717) is a build of the Microsoft Windows "Longhorn" operating system, and among the first to include a working version of the Windows Aero visual style. Other features in this build include an updated Plex theme, a prototype of the Phodeo feature, and a new Communication History shell folder.
Features
- DWM can be activated with sbctl start command. Note that for VMware you need the 6.5.2 SVGA driver for DWM to work.
- Outlook Express 7 can be run normally, but it depends on WinFS, if WinFS is off, it gives an error.
- WinFS is composed of some services, can be turned off via services.msc. It causes a memory leak.
