Windows "Longhorn" build 4033 (with a build tag of 4033.main.030717-1555) is a Milestone 6 build of the Microsoft Windows "Longhorn" operating system.

Features

  • Aero Wizards debuted in this build with the CD Writing Wizard, which allowed users to burn .ISO images to disc.[1]
  • This build was among the first builds to include the bright, red aurora wallpaper, and also included 3D icons within the Games Center (later renamed as the "Games Explorer").
  • This build also contains a prototype of a newer Panorama/Phodeo view. However, this view is barely working and just organizes items.
  • It also contained a hidden Privacy Preferences part of Trust Advisor.
