Longhorn Architecture, as presented at PDC 2003

"Longhorn" was the codename for planned successor of Windows XP. The project was cancelled, and replaced with a new project with similar codename - Longhorn Omega-13, that was renamed to Vista that became the real successor of XP. Early Vista's builds were referred as just Longhorn for most of the time and those two projects were often mistaken.

Logos

During the time of development, the design team has presented a few logos. Longhorn uses also XP flag in many places.
