If you're installing this build in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004/2007, make sure to select "XGA compatible" as your display adapter during setup. This build appears to have an issue with S3 and VGA drivers on VPC and will not boot with them. If you want a higher resolution, you can use the Super VGA driver from build 73f/g - select "Other..." and point to a floppy disk containing files
MSDISP.INF
and
SUPERVGA.DRV
from build 73f/g.

Virtual PC issues

If you're installing this build in Microsoft Virtual PC 2004/2007, make sure to select "XGA compatible" as your display adapter during setup. This build appears to have an issue with S3 and VGA drivers on VPC and will not boot with them. If you want a higher resolution, you can use the Super VGA driver from build 73f/g - select "Other..." and point to a floppy disk containing files MSDISP.INF and SUPERVGA.DRV from build 73f/g.
