This build features a boot screen when the edge changes colors while loading.
'''Windows 95 build 405''' is the February 1995 Test Release, picking up from where the 31x-33x series of builds left off. It does not feature many changes over those builds, as it merely updates the icons and fixes some bugs. It is an upgrade version and therefore requires an earlier version of Windows.

This build is interesting because while it is newer than build 331, it is also older than build 337. You can even upgrade to build 337 from it. It is not known at the moment why this build was branched off into the 4xx range from build 33x.

The most notable feature of this build is a unique boot screen not seen in any other leaked builds, where the edge of the screen changes color from red to blue and vice versa while the OS is starting.

Windows 95 build 405 is the February 1995 Test Release, picking up from where the 31x-33x series of builds left off.
