Windows 95 build 40 is among the earliest known builds of Microsoft Windows 95. Several screenshots of this build were leaked by KenOath, however, they remain unverified.
There was also a fake build 40 floating around some time ago, which was made with files from various builds, supposedly even from the real build 40, but this was never proven to be true.
