This build is much more stable than Beta 1 (build 122) and can be configured with sound and SVGA resolution in Virtual PC 2007 without any problems. It's available on the FTP in both CD and floppy versions. A working VHD can also be found online.

Windows 95 Build 189
Kernel version Windows 9x 4.00
CPU architecture x86
Edition n/a
BIOS date 22nd September 1994

Build 189 is Beta 1.4 and the first leaked build to call itself "Windows 95" instead of "Microsoft Chicago" (though there are still many Chicago references left). It was compiled on 22nd September 1994. Just like builds 116 and 122 before it, it's visually almost complete and mostly resembles the final product.

Release Notes (README.TXT) from this build also reference several older builds, namely 122, 165, 166 and 170.
