Windows 95 build 116 is a build of Chicago. It is similar to build 122, but it has small differences. Only the SDK version installs correctly.

This build is also mentioned in Release Notes from build 122, along with builds 73, 99 and 108.

Installation

Installing from Windows 95 boot floppy:

  1. Prepare disk with fdisk, reboot, then format (format C:).
  2. Change path to the CD-ROM and go to the RETAIL directory.
  3. Run setup.
  4. Accept the default settings and then continue to the file copying process. You may also customize the features to be installed.
  5. When complete, remove floppy and reboot.
