Build 9364 is the first build of Windows 8.1 to leak on file-sharing websites. It leaked on the 24th of March, 2013. This is also the first build to confirm that 8.1 is built on the NT 6.3 kernel.
New Features
- New Start screen customization options, inluding two new tile sizes, and also a revamped color personalization option.
- Four new Modern applications (Alarm, Calc, Movie Moments, Sound Recorder)
- A new option to snap up to four Modern applications at once, dependant on the screen resolution. Snapping is now possible on display resolutions of 1024x768 and above.
- Many new options in the Modern Control Panel
- Internet Explorer 11
- DirectPlay
- Ability to disable SMB 1.0
- Backup to SkyDrive
- NT 6.3 kernel
