Windows 8.1 is going to be an update to Windows 8. It's rumored that the update will be free. The codename is "Blue". Development started around in late 2012.

So far, 3 builds have been leaked. (9364 on March 24th, 2013, 9369 on April 16th, 2013, and 9374 on April 19th, 2013.)
