Windows 8

Windows 8 is the upcoming successor of Windows 7. Some builds after the Windows 7 "7600" have been leaked (pictures) and have been thought to be a Windows 8 Alpha, but right now, that is not yet known, but is said by others to be quite possible. It has secretly been said in a blog of as Microsoft Employee (that was cached by Google because it was deleted) that it will not be included as a 32-bit OS, but as a 64-bit OS. The NT version would be 7.0, even though its "8", Windows 7's was 6.1.

As stated by a Microsoft employee, Windows 8 will be "totally different" when it is expected to be released, sometime around 2011 or 2012. citation needed Some reports say that Windows 8's internal codename may also be Windows.Next. citation needed
