* Use GImageX to apply the install.wim to the mounted drive
* Then just unmount it and boot the VM (don't forget to set the date ;) ).

Build 6730 has only been leaked in .WIM format.

Installation

  • Create a .VMDK for VMware Workstation (50gb), partition and format it.
  • Mount it via VMware Workstation
  • Run VMware Workstation as admin if you are on Windows Vista and higher, otherwise the mounted drive is not visible for GImageX ***
  • Use GImageX to apply the install.wim to the mounted drive
  • Then just unmount it and boot the VM (don't forget to set the date ;) ).
